About me

I am a Computational Linguist with a background in Psycholinguistics and Data Science. While my research interests have become increasingly computational during the years, my current interests mainly circle around two problems:

• LLM Benchmarking: Working at Bundesdruckerei, my main focus lies on LLM benchmarking in the context of public administration. As part of an ongoing project, I contribute to MÖVE, a framework for assessing LLMs across different criteria, including both performance (summarization, QA, etc.) as well as as governance dimensions relevant for the public sector (transparency, sustainability, etc.).
• Argumentation: As a PhD student in the Applied CL Discourse Research Lab headed by Manfred Stede, I work on the computational detection of argumentation structure in German tweets on climate change. In addition to the core tasks of argument mining, i.e. claim and evidence detection, I further pay attention to the questions of argument complexity in tweets, as well as climate change discourse across different groups of actors (general public vs members of parliament) and arenas (tweets vs parliamentary speeches).
