I am a Computational Linguist with a background in Psycholinguistics and Data Analysis. While my research interests have become increasingly computational during the last years, my current interests mainly circle around two problems:
- As a PhD student in the Applied CL Discourse Research Lab headed by Manfred Stede, I work on the computational recognition of argumentation structure in tweets. Specifically, I am focusing on English and German data using supervised and unsupervised machine learning methods.
- Additionally, I am a member of the QURATOR project at Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin (State Library of Berlin). In this project, I focus on OCR post-correction.
Having a background in psycholinguistics, I previously worked on the cognitive processing of agreement attraction in German using the ERP technique. This work has been supervised by Titus von der Malsburg.
